Hiya! I'm Violet! I'm about 2 years old and found myself at the shelter as a stray. Let me tell you a little bit about myself: I am very affectionate and I love to play. I love to be petted and belly rubs are wonderful! My ideal home life would include lots of play toys and a new family who wants to play and run with me. I need to be kept busy all the time! I will need a very active teen/adult household. I am quite strong and I need to learn some basic manners. But, guess what?! Obedience Classes are included in my adoption fee - it's only an hour long once a week for 7 weeks. I love to learn new tricks! If you have other dogs a meet and greet with them will be mandatory. I would love for you to take me home - please come see me!

-AVID Microchip (form of permanent identification); Western PA Humane Society pays initial yearly fee for City of Pittsburgh dog license (Adopters are responsible for renewal license fee. If adopter resides outside of the City of Pittsburgh, adopter is responsible to obtain and pay dog license fee).
-One year FREE membership to the Western PA Humane Society Clinic and retail store.
